IET Technical visit


Wednesday, 20th February 2008. 

 

Technical visit to an innovative commercial transmitter site in La Puente.

The transmitter meeting and visit will start at 10:30 am.

 

Directions:

 

From 60 freeway go north on 7th Ave approx 0.8 miles to Don Julian - Left on Don Julian (west)

 

Aim for the transmitter towers - VERY NOTICEABLE red and white structures located on the warehouses, enclosed by Don Julian, (south), 5th and 6th streets, (east and west) and El Proctor to the north.

 

From Don Julian drive in between the warehouses – The suite number is 14285 (west side) but the door may be open, obscuring the number.  Access to the transmitters is from suite 14285. located in the west warehouse. The entrance is about on the mid point facing the driveway between the two warehouses.

Parking should be available in this driveway between the two warehouses - If it's full we can work something out at that time.  Adrian will be on hand to meet us.

 

We plan to adjourn for lunch nearby afterwards, at about 12:30.  The IET will host the facility engineers.
